Most rules have to have some lea way and raw glazing has quite a few rules. I picked this wee tip up from a lecture by John Maltby years ago, If you have a pot that is bone dry but you have forgotten to either slip or glaze inside, if you get a nice clean, wet sponge and wipe it all around the outside of the dry pot you can usually get away with glazing / slipping it inside, you have to wipe it again after you've glazed / slipped it and it drys out very quickly so you slip ware folk would have to get your fingers out if you wanted to wet decorate inside. It shouldn't work but 999 times out of 1000 it does! (I haven't forgotten to glaze these pie dishes I just like the thickness that I get with this glaze if I do the insides when they are dry, that's how certain I am of this technique).
I had to show you my new comfy chair! It was made by Nicola's Mum Rosemary Lindsay and it's just great, I didn't think much of Nx seat cover when she first came to work here but I had to sit at her wheel to show her a shape and when I'd sat down on it I just had to have one!!! It is made of a special memory foam (space shuttle technology) and boy does it work, it's more comfy than my motorbike seat!?
I got Hugh one too, so now we are all sitting comfortably!
P,S, No I don't think I'm getting soft in my old age, If you spend the hours we do one these things it's kind of important.

No Hannah I don't, I have a Radcliff but it's seat is still hard unless it has a Rosemary Lindsay seat cover!
NO! God it's just a plank of wood. Needless to say I have a cushion collection tied on there.
I have such a skinny butt that I have a padded swivel chair with two seat cushions from some old armchairs on top. You're right, you've got to be comfy.
Hi again Hannah that's what I used to have too but it's nothing like as good as my nice new seat. I expect she could maybe take orders, would you like me to ask? She is an interior designer but I think she likes the fact that she's helping people even though it's different from her normal work. (It really is very good).
I've got to find me some memory foam. My poor cushion on my treadle wheel has seen better days.
